About Me

I would consider myself to be a people person. I love talking with people as everyone is so unique and special, so I always see how their sense of charm and style relates to that of my own. Theatre is one of the few places where I have the chance to express myself not just for performance’s sake but also toward the audience members who are watching. This holds true to the point where Theatre is currently my area of study in college. Musical theatre in particular is my preference since it combines dialogue with music in such a fascinating way. I work here at FLCC as a tour guide and I find to be a thrilling experience as I get to pull people in terms of showing them why coming here is a great decision in terms of receiving a great education in a friendly and good-natured environment. My passion however involves something of a different sort, rather than the sounds of human voices it instead involves the boisterous and exhilarating stalk talk of a steam locomotive. Steam railroads make me feel at peace and in my own universe, separate from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. I’m a railfan, one who photographs and records these incredible machines as they do the performing through their unmistakable sights, sounds and even smells. I’m so fortunate to also have many friends that share the same passion, and when we all gather to chase a train, it’s one of the most exciting and unforgettable experiences one can have. I always strive to be creative and articulate in everything I do, putting my passion and energy in a form that people can appreciate and enjoy.
